ICCA, the International Congress and Convention Association, is the global leader in the international meetings industry and the community and knowledge hub for the industry. ICCA Is proud to announce that Thomas Reiser, Executive Director of The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), has been bestowed with the ICCA Global Influencer Award.
Reiser is the first to receive the ICCA Global Influencer Award which was created this year to acknowledge influencing personalities for their outstanding contributions that foster community engagement as well as inspire colleagues and peers in the global association meetings industry.
ICCA Global Influencer Award has been awarded to Thomas Reiser to recognize his achievements of over 25 years as an association management professional practicing in Europe and the United States successfully leading several prominent international non-profit organizations and his active engagement in the global association meetings industry. He has also been chosen for his positive impact on the industry through his personality, knowledge, and expertise.
Reiser has been in his role as Executive Director since 2011 at the ISTH, an international medical-scientific professional membership organization with more than 7,500 clinicians, researchers, and educators working together to improve the lives of patients with bleeding and clotting disorders in more than 110 countries around the world.
