Carvoeiro Clube Group, under Swiss/Dutch management, one of the most renowned real estate development and management companies in the Algarve, opened the doors to its latest project, the Vivenda Miranda Boutique Hotel in Lagos, in mid-June. The iconic 4-star+ luxury design hotel is not only the first hotel in the group, but also operates the furthest from their base in Carvoeiro.
The internationally famous boutique hotel Vivenda Miranda, famous for its spectacular cliff-top location just above Porto de Mos beach, was taken over at the beginning of this year and has since undergone an extension and a thorough facelift.
CEO Patricia Buerer says about the new acquisition: "Vivenda Miranda is exactly what we always wanted: a luxury design hotel in a boutique style with 27 individually decorated rooms in an unparalleled location. Together with the well-known Swiss investor Freddy Burger, successful entrepreneur in the event and entertainment business, we believe that we will bring Vivenda Miranda back on the road to success, also thanks to our 30 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry”.
The hotel restaurant “Mirandus” with an alfresco lounge, also benefits from the spectacular location and is already building up a loyal clientele from in-house and external guests. The celebrated chef, Christoph Voigt, offers the highest level of cuisine with an impressive selection of seasonal dishes using the best that “Land & Sea” have to offer. The wine and drink list boast specialties from all over Portugal, while vibrant cocktails are created right in front of you. Owing to the size of the hotel and the scale of the Food and Beverage operation, Carvoeiro Clube Group have heavily invested in the recruitment of the team. The carefully selected employees have a wealth of experience and speak various languages, including English and German. An important goal is to establish the Boutique Hotel Vivenda Miranda as a trendy meeting place for hotel guests and locals beyond the Lagos region and the Algarve.
Carvoeiro Clube Group, founded in 1982, are specialists in resort and real estate management and is owned by Andreas Stocker (Swiss) and Erik de Vlieger (Dutch). The Boutique Hotel Vivenda Miranda joins the other 8 resorts on the group's portfolio. Further new deals are being planned.
