IEG: TTG, SIA and SUN in the top league of European expos

A boom in attendance and business: 11% more attendees and non-stop business for 3,000 companies.

RIMINI – A very clear insight on the hospitality planet has been given by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), which ended an extraordinary edition of its three international exhibitions dedicated to the tourism industry. At Rimini Expo Centre, the 56th TTG Travel Experience, 68th SIA Hospitality Design and the 37th SUN Beach&Outdoor Style (9-11 October 2019) guided the trajectory of the international development of 3,000 enterprises.

And reports of an excellent edition for IEG’s three tourism exhibitions, with continual business opportunities, quality information fine-tuned to establish the horizons of the demand and generate new business, came precisely from the companies, tour operators, associations, the media and all the public. A trade fair appointment that, following its Italian record, is now established among the elite of European expos.

In fact, the 56th TTG Travel Experience, 68th SIA Hospitality Design and 37th SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, exhibitions able to guide the trajectory of the international development of enterprises business, closed at Rimini expo centre, with an 11% rise in attendance figures.

Unanimous comments came from the enterprises, associations and tour operators participating: “An excellent edition for IEG’s three tourism exhibitions, full of international business opportunities and quality information, skilfully structured to establish the horizons of demand and generate new business.”

At the expo centre, 130 world destinations chose the IEG marketplace to highlight their proposals, along with the entire scenario of Italian regional tourism facilities. The number of international buyers also increased by 15% compared to the previous edition (from 95 countries) and over 1,500 of them participated in the business-matching platform.

Accompanied by IEG, some of these international delegations will continue their visit to Italy. The proposals of enterprises providing services and products for hotels, as well as those connected with the world of bathing establishments and campsites also met with success. Strategic for the business strategies with the program of Think Future, the initial Vision TTG 2020 by IEG, able to outline what will be able to create appeal for the market’s demand.

And the BeActive and Eatexperience focuses at TTG were dedicated to sports vacations and gastronomic products able to generate the brand of a tourist destination. Then great Italian design at SIA and the latest frontier of the quality of outdoor hospitality perceived at SUN. All aspects stimulated with sustainability issues.

On the IEG platform, the three days led to business impetus every day, generated networking, established new paradigms for determining the most advanced innovation, which consists firstly in the processing the most precise information, then using technology to integrate it in successful formats.

This was followed by the contribution of 140 meetings and over 300 speakers, the result of Italian Exhibition Group’s ability to bring the most authoritative scholars and experts of the new ecosystem in which vacationers will move in coming years to the nine arenas located throughout the expo centre.

In fact, the travel product that will be enjoyed will no longer be the one that is perceived as “the same as oneself in time and place”, but transformable, thanks to the abolition of time barriers enabled precisely by technology.

There was vast media feedback: the #TTG19 hashtag was the trend topic for entire day on Thursday, while almost 900 accredited Italian and foreign journalists used the press room.

The appointment is therefore already set for October 14th to 16th 2020 for the next edition of TTG Travel Experience, SIA Hospitality Design and SUN Beach&Outdoor Style.
