And if you’re not too confident with your kitchen skills, you don’t have to worry – it can’t get easier than this. These juices can be whipped up in minutes in either a juicer or a blender in your paying guest accommodation, and they’re really tasty too. So, if you’re ready to give your immunity a boost, check out these recipes.

Spiced secret vegetable juice
At first taste of this delicious tangy and sweet juice, you’ll find it difficult to guess exactly what’s in it. Well, the secret is that although this juice tastes sweet and fruity, it relies on two vegetables for most of its bulk – carrots and beets. It’s packed with vitamins and the ginger gives it an added dimension of nutrition. To make this juice you’ll need two peeled carrots, 1 peeled and parboiled beetroot, 2 amlas, an inch of ginger, and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Blend everything except the lemon juice with a cup of cold water until it is smooth. Then add the lemon juice and drink immediately. This juice also lasts for a while so you can make a larger quantity and enjoy it for a couple of days. Pro tip: Grow your own lemons in your own garden for a much better taste.

Upgraded tomato juice
That’s right. Tomato juice isn’t just meant for Bloody Marys. Its antioxidant properties make it a great immunity booster. And combined with the health benefits of fresh mint, this recipe is both refreshing and super nutritious. All you need to do is blend four tomatoes, with a handful of mint leaves and a cup of cold water. Blend until smooth and you can enjoy immediately or pour through a sieve if you’d rather strain out the seeds.

Healthier sweet lime water
If you spent a large part of your childhood ordering sweet lime soda at restaurants, this healthier version is going to change your life. The pineapple gives it a natural sweetness and green apples can improve heart health. Coupled with the Vitamin C from the sweet lime and you have a drink that’s perfect for summer. To make this juice, blend two sweet limes, with ¼ cup of pineapple cubes and 1 chopped green apple. You can also add a pinch of rock salt or chaat masala to give it an extra kick. This one is super delicious and best enjoyed over ice.

Enhanced green juice
