SAN DIEGO – Innfinity Software Systems, a San Diego-based technology company providing managed travel and property management solutions, has rolled out the Innfinite online booking tool to one of North America's largest providers of industrial services to the energy and mining sectors. Innfinite offers the industrial services client richer air, hotel and rental car content and greater opportunities for travel savings.
The rollout of Innfinite, in partnership with Vision Travel, enables the client to leverage the Sabre Travel Network's extensive supplier network in order to gain access to a wide array of content via the Sabre GDS, including negotiated airfares, rental car rates and hotels rates.
The client also has access to exclusive Air Canada AC2U Direct Connect content, including both airfares and ancillaries. Currently, Innfinite is the online booking tool with the highest level of connectivity to Air Canada's available web services.
The client will become one of the first companies to run a managed travel program with consistent, reliable access to WestJet bulk fares via an online booking tool (OBT). The flexible architecture that underlies the Innfinite OBT enables the client's travel managers to access these hard-to-find fares. WestJet bulk fares often do not display in legacy OBT's because the algorithms these older tools employ fail to identify them as desirable fares. In order to pull up WestJet bulk fares, Innfinite runs concurrent, parallel searches for select WestJet routings identified by Vision Travel as eligible for bulk fare pricing. If a routing is found that has been previously identified by Vision Travel as bulk fare-eligible, but no bulk fare pricing returns upon the first search, a second search is fired off for that specific routing to retrieve the missing fare. For the travel manager, these bulk fares appear alongside WestJet's standard fare classes and are able to be booked like any standard fare class.
