Focus on sustainability in Bulgaria
The newly constructed five-star Maritim Hotel Paradise Blue Albena is located on the doorstep of one of Bulgaria’s most beautiful nature reserves, the Baltata. The hotel features 238 rooms, including 26 suites, eight studios and four VIP suites with a private balcony/terrace. There are three meeting rooms, accommodating up to 500, 140 or 80 delegates.
Guests can enjoy a range of local cuisine at the hotel’s four restaurants, including the Blue Essential Buffet Restaurant, which serves authentic regional produce, grown and delivered in partnership with the hotel’s local organic farmers.
Sustainability is high on the agenda – the hotel operates its own biofuel facility to generate its own sustainable energy source and participates in the ‘Zero Waste’ tourism project which aims to produce as little waste as possible.
The hotel also has a private beach, a swimming pool with sea view, the Senses Spa & Wellness facility with sauna, indoor pool and gym, as well as a varied programme of sporting activities and entertainment.
First 5-star hotel in Albania
The new Maritim Hotel Plaza Tirana is Albania's first officially certified 5-star hotel. Centrally located at the heart of the Albanian capital Tirana, it is also conveniently located close to Tirana International Airport.
The hotel has four meeting and conference rooms accommodating groups of all sizes, 190 rooms and suites over 23 floors, several restaurants and a modern spa and fitness centre.
