The integration uses the latest fail-proof technologies currently available to ensure that the ‘panic/emergency’ call can be reported, routed and acted upon in a swift, seamless and timely manner.

WASHINGTON D.C. – Knowcross announced the integration of its housekeeping automation solution with React Mobile  – a leading hotel panic button platform. The integration is aimed to deliver a robust joint solution for hotels to arm their workers to combat harassment, leading to a safer working environment.

The safety of hotel staff, especially housekeepers, has been an issue for long. The Knowcross and React Mobile integration is an important step towards empowering hotels to address the issue and improve staff safety standards. The integration uses the latest fail-proof technologies currently available to ensure that the ‘panic/emergency’ call can be reported, routed and acted upon in a swift, seamless and timely manner.

“I’m very happy that Knowcross is being able to contribute to this great cause of staff protection. The Knowcross Platform has been built on the ethos of helping hotels to function better and we’re very committed to enhancing hotel operations. The integration with React Mobile allows us to add a very important aspect ‘Staff Safety’ to the list of value adds we can now provide to existing and new customers across the globe” said Karen O’Neill, President – Americas, Knowcross.

As a part of the integration, hotel workers will be equipped with the KNOW Housekeeping app, KNOW Mobile app and the React Mobile safety platform. Additionally, React Mobile will also provide an external panic button (called ‘Sidekick’) that pairs with employee smart devices. When a user presses the panic button, a widespread alert is sent out to a wide network of emergency contacts, letting them know where the employee in distress is located. With the powerful integration with Knowcross, alerts are sent out with critical information to help locate the employee inside of a multi-story building or across a larger resort style property.

“Hotels across the world are faced with an overwhelming challenge of identifying the best safety solution to help protect their employees. Traditional panic buttons fall short when it comes to protecting hotel workers, because hoteliers need to be able to locate their employees inside of multi-story buildings. We have partnered with Knowcross on a powerful solution to help hotels locate their employees in distress inside of their hotels" said Robb Monkman, CEO, React Mobile.
