Landal UK doubles in size to meet UK demand

The new sites, which with benefit from multimillion pound investment and improvements, will showcase the Landal GreenParks experience and build on the strong demand for UK holidays in 2021.

Landal GreenParks, the UK’s fastest growing Lodge holiday company, has announced the addition of nine new sites into its portfolio which will double the number of holiday locations the brand offers in the UK.

The new sites, which with benefit from multimillion pound investment and improvements, will showcase the Landal GreenParks experience and build on the strong demand for UK holidays in 2021.

This is fantastic news for the UK business, and we are delighted to be bringing nine new sites to the UK in 2022, seven of which are under the ownership of Bristol based Luxury Lodge Estates Ltd,” said Paul Hardingham, UK Managing Director. “After an incredibly strong summer and autumn for the UK business we were looking at very ambitious growth plans into 2022, and these deals will mean we have 19 sites around the UK, which is the fasted growing part of the Landal GreenParks European portfolio.

“Our focus is on high quality and innovative accommodation to meet the needs of a new UK holiday customer and have plans to bring next generation design led lodges onto our sites in early 2022.

“We believe that lodge market is going from strength-to-strength and we are seeing this borne out through bookings for this year, with October half-term up 20% year on year and forward bookings for 2022 up 30%.”

In addition to the Luxury Lodges partnership deal there will be two more locations available to book from December for 2022, which will see the new developments span the length and breadth of the UK across the North of England, South Wales, Devon, Cornwall, South West Scotland and Lincolnshire.  These sites will add to Landal’s existing portfolio of ten locations within the Peak District, Kielder Water & Forest Park, the Cornish coastline and Scottish countryside, providing customers with a diverse range of holiday experiences in some of the country’s leading destinations.
