Lane End Conference Centre hosts Hypnos Beds’ International Retailer conference

The conference bought together Hypnos’ retailers from around the world, with delegates travelling from as far afield as China, to share news from the brand, demonstrate new products and provide an opportunity for partners to network and participate in team building activities.

Lane End Conference Centre, a Buckinghamshire-based training and conference venue, recently hosted the first International Retailer Conference for Hypnos Beds which focussed on the launch of a new product range and branding standards.

Hypnos make luxury, bespoke beds for hotels and homes across the world and has experienced a growing demand for products in overseas markets. The conference bought together Hypnos’ retailers from around the world, with delegates travelling from as far afield as China, to share news from the brand, demonstrate new products and provide an opportunity for partners to network and participate in team building activities. Lane End was chosen as the host venue due its proximity to the brands headquarters, accessibility from Heathrow airport and the flexible conferencing facilities.

During the conference, delegates were also taken on a tour of the Hypnos factory and enjoy a chocolate making team making activity, hosted by Lane End Conference Centre’s regular partners Cocoa and Cream, ahead of a Celebratory dinner.

“Increasing international growth and momentum within Europe is a key goal for us as a business so this conference was an integral part of our strategy,” explained Chris Ward, Group Marketing Director of Hypnos Beds. “Lane End’s proximity to our head office and Heathrow Airport was a huge part of why the venue was chosen to host the event, but everything from the facilities to the team supporting us played a role in making this a successful event. This was not just a product launch but a celebration of the product and Hypnos Beds itself with the Gala dinner and team building activities being pivotal moments during the two-day conference.”

The conference utilised a range of Lane End’s facilities, including The Pavilion and Wycombe Lodge. Hypnos Beds, a British family-run bed making company, discussed branding, values and its royal connections. Hypnos Beds holds a Royal Warrant which demonstrates the very highest of standards in excellence, quality, service and innovation and the mark of the best of British. Hypnos is also the only bed make to actively supply all Royal residences including Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, St James Palace, Balmoral Castle, Sandringham House, The Palace of Holyroodhouse and Kensington Palace. The beds, which retail between £1 – £10,000 were showcased with an artisan showcasing the hand assembly and meticulous stitching by hand of the mattresses whilst highlighting the natural animal fibres that help create a unique product.

“It has been a real pleasure to host Hypnos Beds and its international conference,” commented Heni Fourie, Director of Sales and Marketing at Lane End Conference Centre. “From the product launch to the Gala Dinner, it has been a wonderful experience working with the Hypnos team to make this a successful event. Hypnos products and its brand is gaining a lot of momentum in the UK and it is this growth that Hypnos want to encourage in Europe. We were delighted to be a big part of what was a successful event.”
