LoungeUp acquires Dmbook Pro

Dmbook Pro.

Company establishes itself as the leading European provider in solutions for guest relationship and hotel operations management.

PARIS – With the takeover of Dmbook Pro, the virtual assistant for hotel management, LoungeUp now offers the complete solution for optimal guest relationship management.

LoungeUp is the European leader in guest relationship management tools dedicated to the hotel industry, with over 2550 establishments from all over the world already using their solution. LoungeUp has added a new product to its platform by acquiring Dmbook Pro, an Irish company specialising in the management of hotel tasks and procedures.

Founded in 2014, Dmbook Pro is the virtual assistant to hotel management, offering features such as online shift handovers and log books, knowledge bases and guest request management (ticketing). Dmbook Pro is a unique solution on the market which has a client base of around 200 European hotels, such as OKKO hotels, Staycity, several Relais & Chateaux establishments, Novotel and Holiday Inn.

The Dmbook Pro team has joined up with the LoungeUp team, who will benefit greatly from Dmbook Pro’s extensive experience in managing hotel operations and their expertise in hotel staff management processes.

Thanks to LoungeUp, tourist accommodation providers can inform and interact with their guests in real-time via instant messaging, allowing them to dematerialise several procedures such as check-in or the ordering of services (room-service, spa, restaurant, taxis, museums…) and to maintain ultra-personalised contact with them after their stay through their unified guest database.

With the integration of Dmbook Pro technology, a tool that manages hotel staff’s tasks and procedures, reception teams can considerably increase their level of productivity in order to guarantee an exceptional level of customer service for their guests.

Mathieu Pollet, CEO and Co-founder explains this acquisition: “The integration of Dmbook Pro’s technology allows us to offer our hotel clients the potential to track each guest request from beginning to end. Any room-service order, spa treatment reservation, or online check-in initiated by guests through the LoungeUp solutions, is then processed by the Dmbook Pro solution. This ensures the request is properly followed up internally by the hotel staff. For the manager of an establishment, it’s the best way of ensuring that the guest experience is of the highest standard throughout. When procedures are optimised and internal communication is improved, the quality of service becomes outstanding.”

Bruno Lanvin, Co-Founder of Dmbook Pro adds: “We’ve already worked with the LoungeUp team in the past to integrate our two products, which was greatly appreciated by our hotel clients and considerably enhanced their experience. This move seemed to us to be the natural next step in Dmbook Pro’s development to a more comprehensive and better connected solution.”
