Mabrian continues international growth with further appointments

Three new joiners with strong tourism backgrounds reflect the continued growth, diversified client base and global nature of Mabrian. The total number of staff has now reached 31, with eight nationalities speaking 10 languages.

MENORCA, SPAIN – Mabrian has confirmed its international growth with the appointment of three new employees. Marouan Charef and Andrea Espiña recently joined the Customer Success team, which works closely with partners to turn multiple data sources into actionable insights.

Whilst Maria Grazia Tremolizzo has joined the Commercial team to reinforce the Italian and French markets.

All three will be based in Mabrian’s Barcelona satellite office to work with its tourism board, CVB, hotel chain and airline partners.

The international background of these appointments reflects the recent global growth of Mabrian – a real-time, global tourist observatory operating via a cloud-based intelligence platform – into key tourism markets around the globe.

The Mabrian platform gives insights on air demand and capacity, accommodation pricing, in-destination spend, mobile telephone data, and perception + interest indices of destinations based on social media monitoring.

Since it was founded in 2013 Mabrian has grown into a team of 31 employees working from its Menorcan HQ and Barcelona satellite office, plus some remote workers in Mallorca and Wales.

Together the Mabrian team now covers eight nationalities – including Israeli, Italian, French, Brazilian, Argentinian, Belgian, British and Spanish –  together speaking 10 languages, reflecting the international growth of the business in recent years.

Santi Camps, CEO at Mabrian comments:  “On behalf of the whole company I´d like to welcome the new joiners to the Mabrian family.

“The objective for all of us, not just those who’ve joined now, is very clear: to convert information into answers for our partners, making possible smarter decisions and increasing the efficiency of the sector.

“These new arrivals international background and nature, along with their deep tourism sector knowledge, reflects the nature of our business today.

“We have strong ambitions and plans for the coming 18 months and I hope to announce further appointments in due course.”

This news follows Mabrian recently announcing the restructuring of its Customer Success team to shift to providing customized assessment to partners.

As part of that shift in late 2020 Mabrian recruited Sonia Huerta, who has more than 10 years of expertise in international projects, from an international tourism consultancy.
