According to Embraer’s Market Outlook 2018 the Middle East and Asia-Pacific will be the fastest growing markets by 2037 with an annual RPK growth rate of 5.7%.

The Middle East can expect the biggest, brightest and best players in the business aviation market to be on display when the MEBAA Show 2018 takes place from 10-12 December at DWC, Airshow Site. With the addition of new features to the event for the first time, in addition to the return of some popular inclusions, this year’s event is set to be in the industry’s finest display in the region.

According to Embraer’s Market Outlook 2018 the Middle East and Asia-Pacific will be the fastest growing markets by 2037 with an annual RPK growth rate of 5.7%. In addition to this, the UAE in particular anticipates increased private jet landings as a result of Expo 2020.

“The region is set for growth in business aviation,” says Ali Alnaqbi, Founding & Executive Chairman of the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA). “What is fantastic is that the key players globally recognise MEBAA Show as the biggest platform in the region, and will be displaying some of their best offerings at the 2018 event.”

Of particular interest this year are the new features added to the event, including the aircraft operators Executive Club Lounge, an exclusive area dedicated to meetings and networking for those in the sector; a product demonstration theatre on the show floor, providing a space for exhibitors to promote their products and services to visitors; and the Jetsetter Welcome Reception, scheduled for late afternoon of the first day.

The MEBAA Show 2018 is expected to be bigger and better with 9,900 attendees across the three days at DWC, Airshow Site, 10-12 December.

MEBAA Conference Dubai to Drive Business Aviation Forward
The MEBAA Conference Dubai, taking place 11-12 December during the MEBAA Show, will focus on business aviation in the MENA region and the global market, to equip attendees with both knowledge on the latest trends and innovations in the industry.

Business aviation in the Middle East is poised to benefit from growth as a result of Expo 2020, which will attract a boost in private jet bookings as a result of the increased travellers to the emirate. The UAE already hosts around 50,000 ultra high net worth UHNW passengers per year, leading to about 30,600 private jet flights out of the Dubai in 2017.

The agenda at the MEBAA Conference Dubai has been specially developed to meet the needs of the market, analysing the latest trends and regulations in the market and the potential of supersonic business jets, among other topics.

There will also be a focus on new technologies and how they affect the industry, with blockchain and cyber security assessed in detail. The blockchain session in particular will first look at how it is being used in other industries before examining the benefits it can offer aviation as well as advising attendees how it can be applied to their companies.

Attendees will also benefit from hearing the latest on innovation. ‘From cockpit to cabin’ will investigate where the opportunities for innovation lie, while the session will also look at those outside of the aircraft itself, in terms of customer service and passenger experience.

“The MEBAA Conferences across the Middle East and North Africa have developed a reputation for being the place to discover and develop knowledge in business aviation,” said Ali Alnaqbi. He continued, “The agenda for this year’s Dubai conference is already demonstrating that this will continue to be a must-attend event for anyone in the industry.”
