Meeting Point Hotels reveal fifth hotel brand with Lemon & Soul

Shortly after their unveiling of three new hotel brands, MP Hotels announced their final brand at ATM2018 in Dubai.  Lemon & Soul hotels are an exciting budget option for family, couples or solo travelers looking for comfortable and affordable stays near a beachside setting.

MUNICH, GERMANY – MP Hotels announced Lemon & Soul hotels brand; a new group of hotels that are a budget-conscious option for travelers looking to vacation in a relaxed beach front experience with the essential services and facilities.

MP Hotels announced  the existence of a budget brand during a press-conference at the ITB 2018 fair in Berlin. During the event, Kairaba Hotels & Resorts, Design Plus and Clubs Plus brands were all showcased alongside MP Hotels most mature brand, LABRANDA Hotels & Resorts. However, their budget hotels were simply mentioned, as the branding for these unique properties was still in the works.

“We’re  excited to add Lemon & Soul to our MP Hotels house of brands,” said Roula Jouny, Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director of FTI Group, the corporate parent of Meeting Point International, which owns MP Hotels. “This segment and style of traveler is increasingly important, and we want to make sure that we are catering to them. ”

Hotels are facing increasing competition from  a growing list of non-hotel actors that offer unique basic service accommodations. With Lemon & Soul, MP Hotels has concocted a product that caters to this self-reliant crowd, while also offering them services that non-hotel rentals cannot.

“There are many places where hotels still drastically excel when compared to affordable holiday rental options,” said Mrs. Jouny. “The communal experience and pampered service offerings of a hotel are amongst the most obvious.”

Lemon & Soul hotels will offer all types of board services, from all-inclusive, half-board to bed & breakfast options. Some will feature apartment like accommodations that will give guests the ability to self-cater, with the added benefit of having a hotel quality housekeeping service. Lemon & Soul properties can also offer all-day dining restaurants, poolside bars and onsite entertainment throughout most of their locations.  

In spirit of its name, the hotels will also carve out a unique identity based-around its fruit namesake. Lemon cakes, lemon-based cocktails and lemon patisseries are going to be an obvious presence throughout the hotels. Lemon inspired artwork and imagery will also be featured in the properties.

“A happy life requires a constant stream of zesty experiences,” said Mrs. Jouny. “Citrus fruits are known for their zest, we therefore champion and symbolize this concept with  the Lemon & Soul name.”

MP Hotels has yet to announce where the first Lemon & Soul property will be located.

“We have yet to pick a location for this exciting product offering,” concluded Mrs. Jouny. “Lemon & Soul is a huge positive for our company, and we will announce the chosen site in due time.”
