Mersey Ferries has announced the 2019 dates for its popular Summer Evening Cruise programme, to ensure groups and visitors to the city are able to book early to avoid disappointment.

For those planning a visit to Liverpool in 2019, the Mersey Ferries Summer Evening Cruises are a wonderful addition to any itinerary and feature live music from the North West’s best local talent, a fully licensed bar and unbelievable views of Liverpool's UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront.

The cruises are an affordable option for passengers who want to make the most of an evening in the world’s capital of pop music.

Running for two hours, the Summer Evening Cruises take place on Fridays and Saturdays, with many of the 2018 dates selling out months in advance.

Gary Evans from Mersey Ferries said: “Our cruises provide a fantastic evening of live entertainment and leave passengers with great, lasting memories of Liverpool over the summer.  As an event, they offer something completely unique in the North West – bringing together culture and entertainment on one of the world’s most recognisable waterfronts.

“For 2019, many of the local performers we’re securing are already incredibly popular with North West audiences and residents, so we’re anticipating the appetite for this type of intimate gig to be incredible. We’d advise large groups to book in advance to avoid disappointment if they’d like to join us on our summer sailings.”

The following 2019 dates are on sale now:

  • Saturday 18 May
  • Saturday 1 June
  • Friday 14 June
  • Saturday 29 June
  • Friday 12 July
  • Saturday 27 July
  • Friday 9 August
  • Friday 16 August

Cruises depart from Seacombe (Wirral) at 7.30pm and Pier Head (Liverpool) at 7.40pm.
