As for Plunge Beach Resort, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea's low-key laidback retreat, Ellen Cohen-Berman has been appointed as in-house curator for the hotel's Plunge Into The Arts program.
Plunge Into The Arts is a new initiative that aims to help local artists flourish, as well as encourage the community to engage in and learn about Greater Fort Lauderdale's art scene. Curated artists exhibit their work in the lobby for 30 days, and the hotel hosts an artist open house every other Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm.
As in-house curator, Cohen-Berman will aid in meeting the program's goal of selecting artists and work that are unique, thought-provoking, and edgy.
