Mognol will be based in the MHR London Corporate Office and will lead the Asset Management efforts for the group’s European hotel portfolio including the UK, which comprises 24 properties.
Millennium Hotels and Resorts announced that Mr Christian Mognol has been appointed Head of Asset Management and Acquisitions, UK & Europe. Mognol joins Millennium Hotels and Resorts from SGG Group, a leading corporate administration and fund services group, where he has worked since 2011 and most recently as Senior Vice President, coordinating SGG’s corporate clients segment.
Prior to this, Mognol held several senior positions over his 23-year tenure with BGL BNP PARIBAS: from credits, debt origination, fixed income capital markets, acquisitions, wholesale client management to private banking and estate planning.
Mognol will be based in the MHR London Corporate Office and will lead the Asset Management efforts for the group’s European hotel portfolio including the UK, which comprises 24 properties. His responsibilities will include planning and implementation of capital expenditure programmes and the budgeting process, maximising revenues through measures such as cost control initiatives, revenue generation activities and optimising hotel investment strategies and special projects such as negotiation of new third party management & franchise agreements. Mognol will play a key role in any future new acquisitions for Millennium Hotels and Resorts.
Mognol is fluent in several languages including Italian, French, English and German. He will work in collaboration with Clive Harrington, SVP Operations Europe and report to the Group Chief Executive Officer, Aloysius Lee.

Mognol joins Millennium Hotels and Resorts immediately.
