Musement partners with 15below to offer enhanced in-destination booking services to airline passengers

The partnership offers huge potential for airlines to improve customer satisfaction and engagement.

LONDON – Travel concierge company Musement has announced a partnership with leading travel communications provider, 15below – to offer enhanced in-destination booking services for airlines and their customers.

Using 15below’s notifications platform, and Musement’s virtual travel agent software, airlines can provide perfectly curated activities and tickets within their passenger notifications, and direct links to make a booking.

The partnership offers huge potential for airlines to improve customer satisfaction and engagement. With open rates of up to 70% on 15below pre-departure notifications and CTRs of up to 50%, airlines can open up significant new revenue streams – offering tickets for live events and sightseeing tours. But the opportunity doesn’t stop there. The service can also be used during travel disruption, turning an unscheduled delay into a fun and engaging way to keep customers happy. Perfect for the modern, time-strapped consumer.

“The functionality of this platform is the future for travel enhanced add-ons," said Alessandro Petazzi, co-founder and CEO of Musement. “Using a series of pre-configured rules and filters, we have the ability to identify most relevant offers, events and activities from Musement’s booking engine based on the customer’s profile and travel details. Every customer then receives a personalised notification tailored specifically for their trip, with the ability to immediately purchase tickets by simply clicking on the links.”

Musement currently operates one of the world’s most advanced booking services with curated information on over 3,500 activities and attractions across 350 cities worldwide in 7 different languages.

“As consumer demand grows for functional and trusted travel solutions, airlines are increasingly seeking to capture, ancillary sales as a critical aspect of growing their profitability year on year,” says Nicholas Key, CEO of 15below. “According to IATA, new profits are rising by as much as 12% thanks to record-level load factors and increased ancillary revenue.”
