New air data dashboard solution launched by Nina & Pinta

Pioneering solution provides clients with flexible offerings for air sourcing requirements, from self-service to full sourcing.

LONDON – Boutique consultancy Nina & Pinta announced the official launch of its Air Data Dashboard product to serve the managed travel sector. The product is a collaboration between Nina & Pinta, global travel auditing and strategic services leader Topaz International, and The Data Exchange, a data-focused information technology and services provider.

The new solution helps drive informed purchasing decisions throughout the air sourcing process by providing users with an independent, interactive dashboard that consolidates travel data into a user friendly, flexible format.

The fully interactive dashboard increases data visibility for users – a critical requirement for successful air programme negotiations for managed travel programmes. Spend can be filtered and viewed by airline, alliance, country (point of sale), and class of travel. The dashboard allows users access to live data for use in airline negotiations.

Users can also view contract performance to ascertain:

  • Where and how well your current airline contracts are performing
  • Performance against fair market share and contract targets
  • Savings opportunities within spend
  • Risk analysis where spend is overcommitted
  • Spend reliance on specific carrier networks and alliances based on current travel patterns
  • Benchmark fares paid vs. contract and average fares paid on that route

The Air Data Dashboard provides users with a flexible solution for air sourcing requirements from self-service to comprehensive sourcing services from the Nina & Pinta team. Uploading data, analysing spend, negotiating programmes, and compiling quarterly performance reviews will all be made more efficient using the new service.

“We are very pleased to launch this exciting new product to support travel category managers and their managed travel programmes,” said Jo-Anne Lloyd, Nina & Pinta partner. “We developed the Air Data Dashboard solution to help set travel managers up for success in their air programme negotiations. We therefore made the product flexible enough to support the level of service required by clients, as well as easy to use during negotiations. Airlines are investing significant resources in data analysis for use in contract negotiations, and we feel travel managers should be as prepared as possible when entering those discussions. We feel that utilising this tool is a critical step in those preparations.”

With technology provided by The Data Exchange, benchmarking and auditing by Topaz International, and strategy by Nina & Pinta, the Air Data Dashboard brings the most qualified, independent data source available in the managed travel industry to clients.

“The Air Data Dashboard is exciting on many fronts,” said Susan Hopley, CEO and Founder of The Data Exchange. “Not only is it an offering that will help support buyers in the increasingly complex air programme negotiations process, the flexibility provided will allow it to support programs of all sizes with offerings from self-service to full sourcing solutions. Rich insights can be easily interpreted from the data via the user-friendly and simple to use interface we’ve developed. I am very enthusiastic about the launch of the Air Data Dashboard and look forward to working on future projects with the Nina & Pinta team.”

Pricing for the Air Data Dashboard is determined by the level of service required (self-service, comprehensive support, or other) and the number of current airline contracts currently in the programme. The Air Data Dashboard is available immediately to Nina & Pinta clients.
