New green pearl in the south of Italy: A’ Cràpa Mangia

The owners were committed to sustainability from the very beginning. Thus, during the loving renovation, attention was given to preserving the historic architectural structures of the 17th century.

The carefully restored historic estate A' Cràpa Mangia lies in the middle of the Cilento National Park, with an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Salerno, and is the newest member of Green Pearls. The hillside estate dates back to the 17th century and comprises the Casa Grande and four other natural stone buildings such as former stables, tool sheds, bakehouse and storerooms, housing nine vacation apartments for two to eight people. All accommodation feature a private terrace with sea view.

The spacious estate is surrounded by fruit and olive trees. The owners were committed to sustainability from the very beginning. Thus, during the loving renovation, attention was given to preserving the historic architectural structures of the 17th century. Natural stone, wood, iron and stucco lend the rooms a special charm.

By the way, A' Cràpa Mangia is an old Cilentan greeting that literally means "the goat eats". And when the goat ate, the people were also well. Like today on A' Cràpa Mangia.
