There has been speculation about it for some time now and here it is: A Michelin star for the Mountain Hub Gourmet at Hilton Munich Airport. On Wednesday afternoon, the Michelin Guide announced its star ratings in Hamburg and the fine-dining restaurant at Munich Airport was awarded for the first time. With this award, Germany finally has yet again a Michelin-starred restaurant at an airport - which comes only six months after the reopening of Mountain Hub Gourmet. Since then, the 33-year-old chef Stefan Barnhusen has impressed his guests with modern-international cuisine once again. He had previously worked in the starred restaurant "Jellyfish" in Hamburg and under three-star chef Christian Jürgens at "Seehotel Überfahrt" on Lake Tegernsee.
