NLA endorses Travel Again Recovery Framework

Partnership creates important step in uniting industry toward sustainable recovery effort.

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Limousine Association (NLA), leading association promoting and protecting the international, national and regional interests of chauffeured transportation, officially endorsed the Travel Again Recovery Framework. The framework consists of a set of specific priorities and recommendations that provides a robust plan for safely rebuilding the travel industry.

“As the association responsible for and dedicated to representing the interests of the private driver transportation industry, we witnessed the staggering impact of COVID-19 on our members and the travel industry as a whole” said Robert Alexander, NLA President. “We wholeheartedly support the priorities and recommendations laid out in the Travel Again Recovery Framework and believe we must come together as an industry behind this effort in order to drive the much needed recovery of the travel industry and the global economy as well.”

“As the leading association for chauffeured transportation, we are thrilled to have NLA’s support in our efforts to unite the travel industry and drive recovery,” said Mike McCormick, Travel Again co-founder. “An industry-wide concerted effort across all travel sectors to systematically address the issues facing traveler confidence on a pan-industry, global level is exactly what we need to restore travel confidence and get the travel industry back on its feet.”

The Travel Again Recovery Framework reflects the work of the organization’s Policy Advisors, which include 25 senior leaders who represent various sectors of the travel industry, as well as input from leading scientists and policy experts. It lays out eight travel industry initiatives for immediate adoption to drive recovery.
