NOVUM Hospitality celebrates a roofing ceremony for niu Charly in “Mainhatten”

The niu Charly comes up trumps with a roof terrace that’s directly accessible from the breakfast room on the 6th floor of the hotel and also offers a unique view of the imposing skyline, including the Westend Tower.

On 6th December, together with Commerz Real as the owner, GOLD.STEIN real estate M+E GmbH & Co.KG as the builder and project developer, as well as about 150 invited guests, NOVUM Hospitality is exuberantly celebrating its roofing ceremony for the niu Charly Hotel at Niddastrasse 60-62 in Frankfurt. A successful milestone, as the construction work is well on schedule and the opening of the 189-room hotel is currently planned for the end of 2018.

“We greatly appreciate the hard work and commitment of all our project partners. Our expectations were even exceeded over the past few months, so that our builder partner is ahead of schedule with the general contractor Lupp,” smiles David Etmenan, Chief Executive Officer & owner of NOVUM Hospitality, pleased with the progress.

There were excellent prospects not only for the planned hotel opening. At the roofing ceremony between the business district and the dynamic area of the railway station, the guests were able to see the progress of the project for themselves, including the extraordinary view of the banking skyline of the business metropolis. Thus, the niu Charly comes up trumps with a roof terrace that’s directly accessible from the breakfast room on the 6th floor of the hotel and also offers a unique view of the imposing skyline, including the Westend Tower. A further highlight is the inner courtyard – an oasis of tranquillity and a counterpole to the vibrant metropolis on the River Main. The idea is for both the roof terrace and the inner courtyard to also attract the ever-welcome locals to the niu Charly, and to become a meeting point for the young and the young at heart. In typical niu style, they’ll encounter a highly individual design concept throughout the hotel. The design of the niu hotel in “Mainhatten” (an affectionate nickname for the city on the Main) has been inspired by puristic skyscrapers as well as the sociable cosiness of Frankfurt.
