OBASA Hospitality acquires IBC Hospitality Technologies

All-in-one technology platform for accommodation providers is strategic addition to consortium of hospitality technology products and services.

PHOENIX, ARIZ. – OBASA Hospitality, the parent company to a collection of global hospitality brands, has announced the acquisition of IBC Hospitality Technologies (IBC). Phoenix-based IBC is the creator of an all-in-one software and services platform to help owners and operators of all accommodation verticals.

IBC’s proprietary suite of products allow lodging providers to more strategically target distribution by profit margin, manage revenue and improve ROI through multi-channel online advertising, and launch marketing and loyalty efforts across multiple labels and platforms.

“OBASA Hospitality is dedicated to providing technology and services that help our global customer base either find or fill accommodations,” says Gordon Doell, President & CEO of OBASA Hospitality. “We started in corporate housing and serviced apartments and now partner with owners and operators of every accommodation type to make growing their revenue easier. The addition of the IBC’s products will give our customers an enhanced degree of control in marketing their business, and IBC’s technology seamlessly integrates into the industry’s full complement of customer, revenue and distribution management systems.

“IBC’s proprietary technology and commitment to continual innovation are both impressive and unsurpassed. Our customers will benefit immensely from between 9:1 and 15:1 ROI having access to IBC’s industry-leading tools,” says Doell.

IBC was founded by Pamela Barnhill with the goal of giving independent hoteliers cost-effective access to the same hospitality solutions larger chains had. The platform has evolved to support providers of all accommodation types, and everyone from single-property owners to multi-unit and/or multi-brand operators. Barnhill has joined OBASA Hospitality’s Executive Team where she will drive innovation, growth and operational efficiency across all brands and business functions.

“I am excited to join and bring IBC Hospitality Technologies into the OBASA Hospitality group of companies,” says Barnhill. “This brings IBC additional support and resources to further IBC’s mission of staying on top of industry trends, and then take advantage of them by implementing robust but easy to use technologies.”

The IBC technology suite of products consists of:

  • RevLogic – A customizable proprietary CRS with business intelligence and market segmentation that allows the user to drive direct bookings, and easily manage rates, inventory and pictures across all channels. Also maximizes distribution, revenue, advertising and metasearch marketing.
  • MetaLogic – A ROI-driven digital marketing and remarketing technology using metasearch to help properties compete alongside other larger brands and OTA’s. Provides the user with full guest information to drive repeat and direct bookings.
  • RoomLogic – An easy to implement, customizable online booking engine that includes rental car and activity add-ons and paired with a patent-pending loyalty program that offers e-gift cards, cash back and/or free nights of lodging.
