Operto named the winner of the 3rd annual VrTech vacation rental start-up competition

The VrTech competition, which is sponsored by leading channel manager solution, Rentals United and Howzat Partners, is in its third year.

LAKE COMO, ITALY – Operto Guest Technologies, a Smart Stay property automation solution, has been announced as the winner of the VrTech competition, an annual awards ceremony celebrating the most innovative startups in the vacation rental industry.
 
The three finalists, Cohosting, Operto and Check-in Scan, competed on stage at the Vacation Rental World Summit in Lake Como, Italy. Each startup had 10 minutes to pitch their business to the crowd of property managers, owners and industry experts at the summit, who chose Operto as the ultimate winner. 
 
Michael Driedger, co-founder and CEO of Operto said: “Operto is very honoured to win this unique award and we would like to thank the team at VrTech and all those who voted for our solution. Our Operto team in Vancouver, who work so hard to service the vacation rental industry and continually improve our Smart Stay property automation software for professional property managers, are truly the reason for our success.”
 
The VrTech competition, which is sponsored by leading channel manager solution, Rentals United and Howzat Partners, is in its third year.
