Otolo offers free exclusive mentoring places to 60 people in their Autumn Mentoring Circles programme

The exclusive mentoring sessions, hosted by experienced industry leaders are designed to enable individuals to learn new skills, rebuild careers and connect with professionals, offering hands-on guidance, lessons and support based on the mentors’ own expertise.

LONDON – Otolo, an online global community for people & businesses with a passion for hospitality is proud to be supporting the industry by offering free exclusive mentoring places to 60 people in their Autumn Mentoring Circles programme.

To help build a stronger industry, over one hundred experts across the hospitality sector have united and joined the team at Otolo to give back and help people across hospitality during an exceptionally tough time.

The exclusive mentoring sessions, hosted by experienced industry leaders are designed to enable individuals to learn new skills, rebuild careers and connect with professionals, offering hands-on guidance, lessons and support based on the mentors’ own expertise.

The concept was developed and set up by a team of hotel professionals affected by the pandemic across brands such as – IHG, Selina, Expedia and many more, with the mission to support everyone passionate about hospitality to reach their potential through mentoring.

James Lemon, Founder and CEO of Otolo said: “Tens of thousands of people in hospitality are looking at their career plans after the last 18 months. Otolo helps people improve job prospects, make connections, get some answers, and find support from mentors who have been there before, or are going through similar experiences. We’re excited to make 60 places available for free in our Mentoring Circles, because giving opportunity and access is at the heart of our mission.”

Recognised for its innovation and progress, Otolo won Startups Magazine ‘Founder of the Year’ 2021. The company has since attracted further partnerships with Hilton, IHG, Glion, Les Roches and more, and have recently appointed Cheila Gibbs as Non-Executive Director. Gibbs, a pioneer in global hospitality consultancy has worked side-by-side with some of the most renowned hoteliers and restaurateurs and has launched some of the most talked-about venues, including Bistro du Vin, Soho House and Morgans, to name but a few.

With decades of experience the Otolo mentors bring with them their expertise from working with leading brands like Hilton, Marriott, IHG., helping those with a passion for the hospitality sector to not only further their careers but to discover new countries, new culture, and new people.

The Otolo community also have a chance to take part in the brands ‘Become a Great Mentor’ courses to refine their leadership skills and have access to the wider Otolo community to network, attend events and get the answers and support they need.
