Pan Pacific London: Offering the most technologically advanced ballroom in the city of London

An inspirational backdrop with the latest technological advances, this unique space will be the leading events venue due to flexibility, capabilities and location.

Opening in early 2021, Pan Pacific London will be the city’s new landmark tower just across from Liverpool Street Station. A true rarity in such a central location will be the extensive 464sqm The Pacific Ballroom, the hotel’s largest and most flexible event space, ideal for a wide range of functions for up to 400 people standing, making it one of the largest hotel ballrooms in the Square Mile.

The Pacific Ballroom’s SMART 4k LED video walls will transform the visual event experience allowing organisation of truly hybrid event, delivering a conference, annual general meetings, product launch, exhibition, awards, fashion show, seminar, reception or dinner.

Each of the three LED video walls, the largest measuring 7.68m x 4.32m, provide an ultra-high definition visual delight supported by the highest performing uniform brightness, the ultimate in colour accuracy, and superior clarity. They will support the delivery of impactful, vivid, highly legible content which seamlessly adapts to all types of lighting conditions, ensuring audiences have the best viewing experience and remain engaged with content.

Whether working with live streaming, Blu-Ray video, 3D imagery or presentations, the mega-screens are designed to operate at the desired speed without losing performance or display quality.

The Pacific Ballroom can sub-divide into two separate soundproof rooms, so each of the video walls can be designed to replicate material, or work independently through separate sources.

The technology systems are connected in the AV control room, where an event producer can control the screen sources, high-performance ceiling mounted speakers and intelligent lighting systems, all with the aid of an integrated visual and audio comms system which links directly to the Ballroom and floor manager.

The Pacific Ballroom’s green room provides a live feed to the Ballroom, ensuring speakers have visibility of their audience whilst preparing for their entrance. Once on stage, they have the ability to control their own content movements, lighting, sound and prompts from the lectern, with the addition of portable comfort monitors ensuring they are fully supported.

In addition to video conferencing, the Ballroom has integrated connectivity to live broadcasting systems and the ability to facilitate 3 interpretation booths in 4 languages. Superfast WiFi and 5G receivers complete the integrated Pacific Ballroom technology, which can be enhanced with supplementary AV equipment with the use of ceiling suspension and power points.

Michelle Whittemore, Director of Marketing Communications at Pan Pacific London comments, “We cannot wait to unveil the Pacific Ballroom – a grand and timeless space which will host unforgettable celebrations in London. In addition to delivering amazing cuisine and unrivalled service, the Ballroom’s SMART capabilities mean we can now have the ability to transport guests anywhere, anytime with the incredible new LED video walls and extensive supporting AV capabilities.”
