Pleasant Holidays appoints Steven Hattem as Senior Director of Sales

As the Senior Director of Sales, Hattem will be responsible for all field sales activities for Pleasant Holidays and its luxury travel brand, Journese.

Pleasant Holidays announced the appointment of Steven Hattem as Senior Director of Sales. A veteran of the travel industry, Hattem’s experience includes cruises, tour operations, hotels, consumer tourism, travel technology and leisure travel through a variety of travel agency distribution channels, including home-based agencies and national accounts. As the Senior Director of Sales, Hattem will be responsible for all field sales activities for Pleasant Holidays and its luxury travel brand, Journese.

Working to build and maintain long-term agency relationships by coaching and developing Pleasant Holidays’ sales team, which includes 18 Business Development Managers (BDMs) and three Inside Sales Team members located throughout the United States, Hattem’s responsibilities include all aspects of the sales cycle, from lead development and prospecting to contract signing and customer satisfaction. Focused on the Travel Agent market, Pleasant Holidays provides vacation packages including cruise vacations to the most popular leisure destinations in Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, the South Pacific and the United States.
 
Pleasant Holidays is a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). Both Pleasant Holidays and Journese are active members of the United States Tour Operator Association (USTOA) and participate in the $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
