Pradeep Raman appointed General Manager of Baccarat Hotel New York

With 25 years of industry experience, Raman most recently served as Hotel Manager for the Peninsula New York, a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond property.

NEW YORK, NY – Pradeep Raman has been named General Manager of the Forbes Five Star AAA Five Diamond Baccarat Hotel New York. In this role, he oversees the day to day operation of the flagship hotel, which reimagined the elegance and perfection of the legendary French crystal maker into a luxury lifestyle hospitality brand when it opened in March of 2015.

With 25 years of industry experience, Raman most recently served as Hotel Manager for the Peninsula New York, a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond property. During his tenure there, he was responsible for all hotel operations, planning and support, as well as overseeing the Forbes Five Star Peninsula Spa.

Prior to this, Raman held various Hotel Operations and Food and Beverage leadership roles with The Montage Hotels, Wynn Resorts, Viceroy Hotel Group, The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, and the Taj Group. He has also been part of the opening teams for The Pendry San Diego, the Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton NY, and various Ritz Carlton properties. Beyond the United States, his esteemed career has taken him to Hong Kong, Istanbul, Malaysia, and numerous assignments in Europe and Asia with Peninsula Hotels.

Raman holds a post graduate diploma in Hotel Operations Management from Hotel Management School, Les Roches in Switzerland, and a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Mangalore University, India. He has continued to pursue his passion for education by participating in executive programs at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and Harvard Business School.
