DOHA, QATAR – Qatar’s new simplified COVID-19 travel rules came into force, replacing a previous traffic-light system and removing quarantine for unvaccinated children under 11 – provided they are accompanied by fully vaccinated family members.
A ‘green’, ‘red’ and ‘exceptional red’ list comes into effect with the previous ‘amber’ list and its restrictions removed. 188 countries are currently listed as ‘green’. The full list and detail on travel policies can be found on the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) website.

Before travelling, visitors to Qatar must register via the pre-registration platform on ehteraz.gov.qa website and upload all relevant documents such as PCR test result, vaccine certificate and other relevant documents 24 to 72 hours before arrival.
