Radius Travel welcomes six new agencies worldwide

Growth in Europe, India, and the Asia Pacific region continues.

WASHINGTON, DC, USA – Radius Travel announced that six new agencies have recently joined the Radius network of over 130 travel agencies worldwide, adding substantial benefits to clients seeking a truly global solution.

New agencies added to the global network of corporate travel and meetings management agencies include:

  • Astrindo Travel Services (Indonesia)
  • Biblos Travel (Argentina)
  • Latvia Tours (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia)
  • Modi Corporate Travel (India)
  • Thomas Cook (India), Ltd. (India)
  • VR Travel (Denmark)

“Radius continues to extend our reach globally across new and existing markets, and these agencies represent key target markets for Radius Travel and our clients,” said Nicole Wilcock, Executive Director, Global Network at Radius Travel. “We aim to work with multiple agency partners, which encourages diversity in our product offering and provides our clients with a truly global, personalized corporate travel program.”

In Europe, Radius Travel has added Latvia Tours in Latvia and VR Travel in Denmark. Latvia Tours, headquartered in Riga, Latvia, is the largest travel company in Latvia with more than 25 years in business. VR Travel is a well renowned Danish-based travel management company offering corporate travel, group travel, and leisure services. VR Travel is headquartered in Vejle, Denmark, with a subsidiary in Nuuk, the capital of Greenland.

In India, Radius Travel has added two new agencies – Modi Corporate Travel and Thomas Cook (India), Ltd.

Modi Corporate Travel is a newly formed independent division of Uniglobe Mod Travel. It has been a leading travel management company in India for more than 30 years, servicing out of three locations in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The company provides expertise in all aspects of travel, including corporate travel services, group tours and packages, MICE, offshore travel management, and auxiliary services. Modi Corporate Travel is one of the ventures backed by the renowned Modi Group. The Modi conglomerate is worth 2.8 billion USD, with a team strength of 1,700 members and core expertise in glass, rubber, travel, franchising, and education.

Thomas Cook (India), Ltd. (TCIL) has been in operation for over 150 years. Headquartered in Mumbai, India, TCIL has 30 locations in all major cities in India, and over 7,000 employees across 22 countries. The company offers a broad spectrum of services, including a mixture of offline, online, outplant, and implant services. TCIL is the largest meetings and events agency in India. TCIL is not affiliated with the former Thomas Cook Group in the UK. In 2012, TCIL acquired by Fairfax Financial Holdings, a financial services holding company.

In Asia Pacific, Radius Travel has added Astrindo Travel Services in Indonesia to its network. Astrindo Travel Services, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, is recognized as one of the leading travel agencies in Indonesia and is one of the largest agencies in that country, with offices in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bali, and Balikpapan.

“Astrindo is passionate about providing excellent service while staying competitive in Indonesia. Their membership in the Radius Travel network will strengthen our position in this key market in Asia Pacific,” said Rafael Gonzalez, Senior Director, Global Agency Management at Radius Travel.

In Latin America, Radius Travel has added Biblos Travel in Argentina. Biblos Travel is headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has served the Argentine market for more than 40 years. Biblos has been part of the Bibam Group since 2017, one of the most important tourism and travel holding companies in Argentina and Latin America. In addition to corporate and events, it offers multi-segment products and services such as retail, online, alliances, and luxury.
