A record number of CEOs and senior executives from the European aviation community are heading to the ERA Regional Airline Conference in Vienna, taking place on 18–19 April.

This year’s conference will focus on key topics such as the industry skills shortage, imminent challenges and threats to aviation and Brexit – all issues that are extremely important to the future of European aviation.

The ERA (European Regions Airline Association) Regional Airline Conference will provide in-depth insight on the sector, covering the latest developments on current issues facing the industry and identifying common opportunities. This prestigious event will once again feature an extensive agenda of high-profile speakers and expert panellists who include ERA member airline leaders Graham Baguley (Titan Airways), Martin Isler (Luxair Luxembourg Airlines), Andy Green (Jota Aviation), Christine Ourmieres-Widener (Flybe), Warner Rootliep (KLM Cityhopper), Mikael Wangdahl (SAS External Production), as well as Eamonn Brennan, Director General, Eurocontrol and Filip Cornelis, Director Aviation and International Transport Affairs, European Commission.

The increasing popularity of this prestigious annual event is a clear indication of the trust ERA’s members place in the association in promoting a healthy, safe, growing aviation industry in Europe. Montserrat Barriga, ERA’s Director General, explains: “One of ERA’s greatest strengths is its members who share a united and supportive approach to building a competitive and resilient aviation sector. Connectivity is extremely important to Europe's economic wellbeing and social development, and ERA’s members play a vital part in this. With so many members from all over Europe attending the ERA Regional Airline Conference, the event is an ideal opportunity to showcase their contribution and to bring everyone together to network.”
