Found a fantastic flight deal, but not able to book it because plans are not confirmed yet? Rehlat, Middle East’s leading online travel agency addresses this scenario by bringing in “Price Lock” – an innovative feature that allows you to lock flight fare now and pay only when your plan is confirmed. Even if the fare increases, you still pay the locked fare only.
No matter how fast technology is evolving when it comes to payments, a majority of the Middle East population does not find it comfortable to confirm & pay their booking on one go – this is one of the many reasons why OTAs are adopting flexi-booking option. From easy payment plans to pay @ hotel to the latest “confirm now & pay later”, end users are offered varied payment modes to suit individual requirements.

How Price Lock Works?
Locking the fare for the flight you want is as easy as 1-2-3
1. If your booking is eligible for Price Lock, you will get the “Pay Later” tab on the search results page.
2. After clicking on “Pay Later”, below screen will be displayed with lock fare, date of final payment, and other required details. Read the instructions carefully and click on “Lock Fare Now’ to confirm the same.
3. Pay the lock fare in the Payment section and hold the airfare for the specified time limit.
Once the payment has been made to lock the fare, an e-mail is sent detailing about the last date for the confirmation along with the balance payment required to confirm the booking. Rehlat also sends automated reminders (messages & emails) to consumers prior to the booking date.
Undecided travelers would save big with price lock given that flight prices fluctuate every day and sometimes even multiple times in the same day.
