Rendezvous St. Lucia relaunches as StolenTime by Rendezvous

Widely loved for its StolenTime concept, now for solo travellers, groups of friends and family, as well as couples from August 2022, following the lack of connection from the pandemic.

Rendezvous is relaunching as StolenTime by Rendezvous in August 2022. The leading all-inclusive boutique resort in St. Lucia, sister property to BodyHoliday and part of SunSwept Resorts, is ranked within the top ten resorts in the destination (TripAdvisor). It has long been loved for its StolenTime concept; a personal and authentic experience which enables guests to connect in a boutique five-star resort setting, away from the pressures of eve ryday life, where they struggle to find quality time and invest in their important relationships.

For decades, the resort has been a leading all-inclusive couples-only property, with one of the highest returnguest ratings for St. Lucia. However, with the need to connect being at the core of all relationships, be it with yourself, your partner, friends, relatives or fellow like-minded guests – now more so than ever after separation from the pandemic – the team is expanding the offering so that all adults can enjoy and benefit from this exceptional holiday experience.

Stolen Moments – experiences to enrich your relationships:  In order to maximise connection whilst at StolenTime by Rendezvous, the team has devised various themes called Stolen Moments to inspire guests and enrich relationships. These include soft adventure, professional idling, F&B experiences and activities aimed towards refreshing and strengthening the human bond. Activities and experiences are designed for guests to learn new things, develop skills and take away priceless memories on their return home.

Stolen Moments include mixology competitions, massage lessons, Castries market walk, suba diving, salsa dancing, organised hikes, tennis lessons, cooking classes, yoga and pilates, as well as watersports and copious evening entertainment, with everything from bubbly hour to games nights, dance and live music performances. These are all included in the rate.

Personalised approach to hospitality: The key to StolenTime by Rendezvous’ success over the years has been the personalised, high touch approach to service and care, starting with the pre-arrival customisation from the concierge team and Webroom facilities. Welcoming and friendly team members make guests feel at home and are largely responsible for the charm of the resort with flexibility for guests to enjoy the resort as they wish.

Perfect backdrop for connection: Set on two miles of stunning beach (the longest in the destination) and surrounded by tropical gardens, there is also a beautiful spa and first-class dining, from Malabar Beach Club with its toes-in-the-sand experience, to the Terrace Restaurant offering relaxed dining overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the unique setting at The Trysting Place Restaurant, as well as special private dining experiences.

Themes: Rekindling connection (particularly important after the pandemic), healing, making up for missed milestones and focusing on emotional wellbeing.

Andrew Barnard, CEO of SunSwept Resorts said of the announcement: "We have always been passionate about bringing people together – connection is such a core human need, and we believe it is at the root of living life to the fullest. So, we are very excited to be inviting connections of all kinds to flourish with us now. It is needed more than ever during these challenging times, and after so much separation brought about by the pandemic."
