Ryanair launches biggest ever UK Winter schedule with over 21 new – 440 total routes

“UK consumers can book Ryanair’s low fare breaks this winter in confidence, avoiding ‘Hopeless Heathrow’ capacity caps or BA flight cancellations”, says the airline.

Ryanair launched its biggest ever winter schedule to/from its 21 UK airports with 21 new routes (440 total) to exciting winter sun and new city break destinations, such as Asturias, Catania, Edinburgh, Klagenfurt, Leipzig, and Lapland.

"As Heathrow’s capacity cuts continue and BA cancels thousands of winter flights, Ryanair is the only UK airline offering UK consumers growth at low fares for winter and summer ’23 travel plans, delivering the lowest fares, the most choice, and unbeatable reliability for UK customers and their families" says airline.

"UK consumers can book Ryanair’s low fare breaks this winter in confidence, avoiding “Hopeless Heathrow” capacity caps or BA flight cancellations. Customers should book directly on Ryanair.com and avoid using Online Travel Agents (OTAs), whose anti-consumer price gouging have been exposed in recent research by Ryanair and submitted to the Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) among other consumer protection agencies.

OTAs that sell Ryanair flights are doing so unlawfully in breach of Ryanair’s T&C’s. This audit has lifted the lid on this internet piracy, overcharging and hidden mark-ups applied to flight and ancillary services by these anti-consumer OTA “pirates” who continue to overcharge and mislead consumers. Many of these OTAs provide Ryanair with false customer contacts and/or fake payment details, preventing consumers from receiving important flight updates and/or refunds. Having left millions of customers without their Covid flight refunds, this OTAs price gouging must be stopped. Ryanair is committed to ensuring that its customers do not fall for their countless pitfalls, including false advertising and bogus flight and product offers."

Speaking in London, Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said: “Ryanair is one of the most reliable airlines as “Hopeless Heathrow” continues to cap traffic, while BA cancels thousands of UK flights in its winter schedules due to staff shortages. This winter Ryanair is offering its UK customers lower fares and more certainty with their winter travel plans, as it operates a full schedule of over 3,000 daily flights with many new routes and unbeatable value for UK’s consumers and their families.

As we continue to grow and add capacity in the UK, our customers have over 440 exciting winter sun, ski and city break destinations to choose from this winter including 21 new routes to the likes of Lanzarote, Venice and Stockholm. With fares from just £29.99, customers should book directly today on Ryanair.com now, to secure the lowest fares and to avoid price piracy OTAs who illegally sell Ryanair flights without any commercial agreement. To protect and inform customers, Ryanair has published a full audit exposing the regular internet piracy and other malpractices of these OTAs and we are once again calling on the CMA to take action and end these anti-consumer practices.”
