Sabre and HelloGbye to deliver AI-Assist technology to TMCs globally

Integrating HelloGbye’s industry leading AI-Assist Automation capabilities with Sabre’s supplier content APIs will improve agent productivity, response times and the traveler experience in the email booking channel.

SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS AND TORONTO – HelloGbye, an industry-leading creator of patented AI-Assist technology that makes travel planning more efficient, and Sabre Corporation, the leading software and technology company that powers the global travel industry, announced a new agreement to accelerate intelligent automation for corporate travel management companies (TMCs) globally.

“With HelloGbye’s AI-Assist technology, we are enabling corporate agents to service email and text-based travel requests far more efficiently without the need for corporate travelers to complete online booking forms,” said Marcos Pinedo, vice president of partner solutions of Sabre Travel Solutions. “With the tight integration of HelloGbye’s platform with Sabre’s APIs, TMCs will now be able to service a channel that was typically time consuming and difficult to manage. At Sabre, we are paving the way for innovation through AI-Automation platforms like HelloGbye to provide increased value to our customers.”

HelloGbye’s patented AI-Assist technology solves the major problem of servicing inbound travel requests as unstructured emails. As much as 60% of all inbound travel requests are sent via email to the TMC. Today, travel agents must manually process these requests, taking them away from more complex and service-orientated tasks. With HelloGbye’s technology integrated into Sabre’s supplier content APIs, TMCs will be able respond to email requests from travelers with curated and ranked itinerary recommendations in a fraction of the time it typically takes them. HelloGbye’s platform will also be able to service travel requests sent via text, voice or messaging platforms in the future.

“We exist to improve the travel planning experience. We think agents should be focused on what matters most – providing world class service for their clients. If we can separate the need for agents to spend time generating itinerary recommendations from emails, they have more time tailoring the travel options based on their valuable experience. Our customers save time and money and their clients get a much better experience. With Sabre as our partner, we can introduce more TMCs worldwide to a new and greatly improved traveler booking experience,” said Michael Carr, CEO of HelloGbye.

With Sabre and HelloGbye, TMCs will be able to dramatically cut operating costs and can:
1) Automate inbound travel requests via email
2) Apply corporate policy for individual corporate customers
3) Enable agents to review, shop and send multiple options to travelers
4) Rank the top results based on traveler preferences and corporate rates
5) Integrate all available Sabre API content and with 3rd party Service Cloud Platforms like Salesforce.com, MS Dynamics, or Genesys, if required

“We are listening to the market,” said Greg Apple, Chief Revenue Officer for HelloGbye. “And automating email requests is just the beginning. We understand that COVID19 has put a lot of pressure on TMCs financially. We are here to help them emerge stronger from the pandemic through automation and be ready to service traveler demand far more efficiently once travel returns.”
