Edye Malcolm will focus on developing Safely’s sales processes, managing the sales team, and hiring top talent to accelerate the company’s already rapid expansion.

ATLANTA - Safely, a leader in short-term rental protection, has appointed Edye Malcolm as Vice President of Sales, as the company enters its next phase of growth. Edye will focus on developing Safely’s sales processes, managing the sales team, and hiring top talent to accelerate the company’s already rapid expansion.

Safely provides peace of mind to homeowners and property managers through a combination of guest screening and tailored insurance and has covered over $60 billion of homeowner liability since its launch in 2015.

“I’m excited to join Safely as the company has a culture of continuous improvement and there is a true sense of family among the team members. I enjoy the excellent communication among the team and the fact the organization truly wants the best for our customers,” Edye said. 

In addition to providing day-to-day strategic and tactical leadership and coaching to drive revenue, Edye will partner with the customer happiness team to ensure successful customer onboarding and continued customer satisfaction. 

Edye added: “The idea of being able to set a growth strategy that will help Safely continue to march forward as a leader in the short-term rental protection industry attracted me to this role. Edye joins Safely from Oracle, where she was an Application Sales Manager selling Oracle's Human Capital Management software solutions to fortune 500 Organizations. Prior to Oracle, Edye held numerous sales and leadership roles, including Regional Manager at HireRight, Vice President of Sales at CareerBuilder, and Vice President of Sales at Monster

Edye attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and studied Communications.
