News from SAUDIA
New products launched at WTM included new and simple ways to book Umrah packages from the UK ‘Umrah Your Way’. No strangers to transporting pilgrims to Saudi Arabia’s holy destinations for Umrah, SAUDIA has announced themed travel package to the UK market, securing its position as the lead carrier for Muslim visitors during this sacred expedition.

The airline also presented new business class seats Saudia Air Rest – which will be in their new A321neo NX from early 2023. The on-board dedicated living space will include a 21.5-inch wide passenger seat along with dual-motion recline with electrical actuated comfort settings providing exceptional lounging position.

Apart from showcasing the airline’s latest products, SAUDIA continues its efforts to promote the rich culture and tradition of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve the aspirations of the Saudi tourism ecosystem, in harmony with Saudi Vision 2030.

"We’re proud to unlock the immense potential and attractions of the Kingdom’s vibrant culture, heritage and stunning biodiversity to the world. We have a shared objective to contribute to the Kingdom’s broader tourism plans to attract a diverse range of visitors, strengthen awareness of its iconic sites, and make them more accessible through enhanced connectivity,” said Mr. Essam Akhonbay, SAUDIA’s Vice President Marketing and Product Manager.

SAUDIA and SVTS Signs a MoU to Enable Easier Online Travel Planning
Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), the Kingdom’s national flag carrier, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Company for Visa and Travel Solutions (SVTS) on Monday for broader collaboration on streamlining travel arrangements.

The signing took place during the first day of the World Travel Market in London between Wael Basaffar, SAUDIA’s VP sales, and Abdullah Aljorias, the Chief Business Officer of SVTS.

The two companies will explore ways to create, develop, and apply joint services and marketing. In addition, the MoU proposes the possibility of joint operations support bureaus to help run day-to-day activities. There is also a possibility of SAUDIA offering exclusive deals across its international network.

Mr. Basafar said that the MoU comes as part of SAUDIA’s commitment to broadening its partnerships with government agencies and the private sector locally and internationally for greater online interconnectivity of services, which supports the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda and plans to streamline travel arrangements for visitors from across more than 100 destinations in four continents.
