With more than 17 years experience, Dayana Brooke says she has focused on sustainable tourism in order to create and promote sustainable travel practices for all travellers.
Founder of The Sustainable Traveller and Savenio affiliate, Dayana Brooke, is leading eco friendly travel globally, appointed as a judge for the 2019 Virtuoso Sustainable Tourism Leadership Award to be announced at Virtuoso Travel Week in August.
Dayana’s appointment to the judging panel follows a big year of nominations and recognition for the sustainable advocate, which saw her line up as a finalist in both the Women in Travel Awards, Sustainability Practices Champion and the upcoming NTIA CATO Small Group Tour Consultant.
With more than 17 years experience, Dayana says she has focused on sustainable tourism in order to create and promote sustainable travel practices for all travellers.
“Sustainable travel goes far beyond just reducing the carbon footprint of your travel, It means sustaining local culture, helping the planet and the environment,” Dayana says.
“My business is dedicated to helping clients organise extraordinary experiences that fit their values and we are dedicated to building awareness through providing sustainable travel tips, experiences and itineraries – we even plant a tree with every booking.
“I’m excited to be part of this movement and to be at the forefront of what I believe is an essential part of the travel ethos.”
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
