Self-service meetings booking tool puts power of choice back in users’ hands

BCD Meetings & Events launches self-service, online meetings tool for simple meetings.

CHICAGO – BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) launched Simple Meetings, a self-service system that allows users to choose where and how they book meetings, today.

“Simple Meetings gives users the power of choice when booking a meeting,” said Jeannie Griffin, VP, Product & Technology Solutions. “Our tool puts the booking power in their hands so they can source, within compliance, the meeting space and sleeping rooms that fit their unique needs. With Simple Meetings, the choice is theirs.”

Simple Meetings is an efficient, easy-to-use online tool that gives users the ability to access a global sourcing inventory and instantly book meeting space and sleeping rooms. The system can be configured to ensure compliance to a company’s meeting and travel policies and there is no limit on the number of meetings booked through the tool nor is there a limit to the number of sleeping rooms secured.

“We see a shift in the way our clients need to book meetings,” said Griffin. “While cost savings and compliance is still critical, they need tools that empower their employees to book meetings according to their needs without sacrificing access to data and the service we bring to the table.”

Simple Meetings offers flexible product and service packages that include varies levels of custom reporting, training, onboarding assistance and consulting. The tool is a secure, PCI compliant system that gives users immediate access to a global inventory in more than 28 languages.

“BCD Meetings & Events is investing in developing products that digitize our services and empower our clients,” said Ted Stone, SVP, Global Technology & Products. “Simple Meetings is one of several key products we will be releasing this year within our MeetingSource platform to address specific pain points in the market.”
