Simpleview merges with Tourism Media to serve 800+ organizations worldwide

By joining Simpleview’s 550+ customers with some 250 of Tourism Media, the combined companies now serve more than 800 destination marketing organizations (DMOs), regional tourism organizations (RTOs), hotels, attractions, convention centers and arenas on six continents.

TUCSON, ARIZ. – Simpleview – the global destination marketing industry’s leading provider of CRM, CMS, website design, digital marketing, revenue generation, and mobile technologies – has merged with Tourism Media, a top provider of tourism marketing websites and online tools in Europe.

By joining Simpleview's 550+ customers with some 250 of Tourism Media, the combined companies now serve more than 800 destination marketing organizations (DMOs), regional tourism organizations (RTOs), hotels, attractions, convention centers and arenas on six continents. With headquarters in Tucson, Arizona and Liverpool, England, they employ more than 300 staff in offices spanning 19 time zones.

"We've seen in tourism organizations on both sides of the Atlantic a real desire to learn from each other," said Simpleview CEO Ryan George. "With this addition of Tourism Media's very knowledgeable and passionate staff and more than 250 European DMOs, we have a great opportunity to integrate best practices from a very diverse and far-reaching family of destination marketing teams."

Simpleview President Richard Reasons added that the combined companies are now better positioned to advance additional goals for the European market:

  • Offering a wider set of digital services and software, including SEO and SEM, marketing automation, DAM, visual content management and the industry's most widely used CRM;
  • Building more effective collaborations between tourism and convention marketing organizations;
  • Creating greater efficiencies between country-level and local-level destination marketing particularly in tracking and reporting ROI.

Earlier this month, Simpleview was designated the exclusive "ROI Champion" of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) based largely on the workflow, collaboration and reporting capabilities of its Partner Extranet and Simpleview CRM – an integrated suite of Customer Relationship Management tools also known as a Destination Management System (DMS).

All 52 employees working with Tourism Media will continue in their existing roles, led by Richard Veal, MD of New Mind | tellUs and based in GMT, giving customers seamless continuity of service. In addition, they will cross-train on Simpleview products, services and support.

Tourism Media's presence in the European market dates back 20 years through three combined companies: NVG, Guestlink and New Mind | tellUS.
