Situ adopts innovative location technology what3words

Three words on your booking confirmation will direct you right to the door of your serviced accommodation.

Situ one of the UK’s leading serviced apartment agencies is delighted to announce it has adopted what3words location technology into its core platforms to ease the arrival process for their guests wherever they are staying in the world. The what3words address will appear on the Situ website and on all booking confirmations.

A recent study shows that over half of travellers (52%) spent more than an hour getting lost on their last trip. ** Now, Situ guests will be able to find their accommodation faster, more easily and without getting lost – leaving them with more time to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.

what3words is an easy way to identify precise locations. Every 3-metre square in the world has been given a unique combination of three words: a what3words address. Now, people can find the front entrance to any property using just three words. As an example ///limes.petal.robots is the exact what3words address for the Gold Gate entrance to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this year – useful for anyone staying in a serviced apartment booked by Situ in London over the festive season.

Managing Director Phil Stapleton says “we are always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience and make the arrival process as seamless as possible. Integrating what3words into our core business processes is a very clever way to promote easier, safer, and better travel for everyone. This partnership continues our focus to make booking serviced accommodation effortless and stress-free for both the booker and business traveller. We are also delighted that visitors to our Devon HQ will be able to find us more easily ///assure.unless.cloth.”

Situ will be working closely with their suppliers and property operators to get the correct what3words address loaded for every location across their global network that now spans over 115 countries by the year end.
