Smartwings to operate flights from 6 airports in Poland to 28 destinations in the summer season

Smartwings has been active on the Polish market for fourteen years and is one of the leading providers of charter flight services.

PRAGUE – Airline company Smartwings will offer flights from 6 airports in Poland (Warsaw, Katowice, Gdansk, Poznan, Krakow, Wroclaw) to 28 destinations, mainly in the Mediterranean, in the 2021 summer season. Smartwings will operate up to 80 (return) flights a week from airports in Poland in the summer months. Smartwings currently operates flights from Poland (Warsaw and Katowice) to the Canary Islands (Tenerife and Fuerteventura), Madeira, and Marsa Alam, Egypt. Smartwings has been active on the Polish market for fourteen years and is one of the leading providers of charter flight services.

Smartwings will provide both charter and regular services to 28 destinations in Greece (Rhodos, Kos, Chania Heraklion, Corfu, Thessaloniki, Kavala, Kalamata, Zakynthos); Spain (Málaga, Barcelona, Almería, Canary Islands: Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria); Italy (Olbia, Catania); Bulgaria (Burgas, Varna); Croatia (Split, Dubrovnik); Turkey (Izmir, Antalya, Bordum, Dalaman); Madeira (Funchal); Egypt (Marsa Alam); Tunisia (Enfidha); and Albania (Tirana), with regular lines to 9 of those destinations. Customers can purchase flight tickets for regular Smartwings lines on the company’s website or from travel agents. Together with their flight tickets, clients can also purchase travel insurance on the Smartwings website including coverage for the COVID-19 disease. Resumption of air traffic is conditional on applicable travel restrictions imposed by the respective countries in association with the health situation.

During the summer season, Smartwings is planning to operate flights not only from Polish airports but also from its hubs in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, France, and the Canary Islands.
