French Polynesia resort Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea welcomes Erwan Le Mentec as Food & Beverage Director and Serge Fery as Executive Chef, bringing new perspectives to the island’s culinary landscape, which includes Pure Restaurant on the lagoon.
Le Mentec comes to Moorea from Mexico, where he was most recently Director of Operations at Casa Aramara Luxury Villa. Having previously worked at a resort in Bora Bora, he is familiar with island hospitality and eagerly brings his expertise to this serene and secluded sanctuary. With 35 years of experience under his belt, Fery has traveled and lived in numerous countries, including Russia, Estonia, France, Angola, Singapore, Sri Lanka and most recently, Seychelles, where he was the Executive Chef at the Banyan Tree Hotel. His international experience and passion for his craft infuse cultural exploration and local sensibility into his cuisine, promising to offer guests an island-worthy, eclectic experience.
