Sports streaming guide for travellers

We have narrowed the field down to five sports streaming services worth checking out if you are travelling around.

If you are a dedicated sports fan, you will know just how frustrating it can be to miss out on watching events if you are away from home.

Thankfully there is a handy solution in the shape of live streaming services, which allow you to access sports action whenever and wherever you want.

However, the quality can vary between the different sites, so it is imperative to sign up for platforms that offer reliable sports streams throughout the year.

With that in mind, we have narrowed the field down to five sports streaming services worth checking out if you are travelling around.

fuboTV
fuboTV is a great option for fans of North American sports, with NBA TV, NBC, NFL Network, TBS, TNT and many more available on the platform.

Users can also access a wide range of regional sports networks, which is ideal for anyone who wants to keep up-to-speed with their favourite team while on the move.

There is also a wide range of international sports coverage on fuboTV via channels such as Fox Deportes, GOL TV, TUDN and many others.

Available on the web or via dedicated apps for iOS, Android, Apple TV, Fire TV, Chromecast and Roku devices, fuboTV is a must-have streaming service for travellers.

ESPN+
ESPN+ is marketed as an add-on to ESPN's core linear networks, which means not all of the firm’s sports rights are featured on the service.

However, fans can still access a wide range of sports including combat sports, college sports, ice hockey, rugby union, football, golf, tennis and cricket.

Major League Baseball's out-of-market sports package, operated through BAMTech, is also sold through the platform as an add-on.

ESPN+ is available via dedicated apps or on the internet for Android, iOS, FireTV, Chromecast, tvOS and Roku devices.

beIN SPORTS
beIN SPORTS broadcasts football from the Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and many more.

The service is available through Sling TV, fuboTV, Vidgo and YouTube TV, making it one of the most accessible live streaming platforms around.

While you can’t subscribe directly to beIN SPORTS, a subscription to one of the services above will give you access to all their sports channels on iOS, Android, Roku and many more.

With motorsports, tennis and rugby amongst a wide range of other sports available, beIN SPORTS is a great way to watch live action wherever you are in the world.

Hulu
If you are looking for more personalised sports streaming service while travelling, you would be well advised to look no further than Hulu.

Hulu features live games from the NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAA Basketball, NHL, MLB, Premier League football and many more.

There are more than 65 live and on-demand channels on Hulu including ESPN, FS1, CBS, NBSCSN, TNT and ABC.

Hulu comes with the added bonus of being able to record live sports and watch later on mobile devices. If you manage to avoid the result, this is the perfect streaming solution.

Sling TV
Sling TV’s flexible sports streaming packages are a great way to access live action while travelling without breaking the bank.

The base package includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, Stadium and TNT, while NFL Network and NBC Sports if you push the boat out a little more.

Climb further up the subscription charge ladder to add services such as NHL Network, NBA TV and beIN SPORTS into the mix.

Sling TV is available on loads of devices including FireTV, Apple TV, Roku, Xbox One, Google Chromecast, iOS, Android and selected smart televisions.
