SpringHill Suites by Marriott opens in Tuckahoe, New York

The SpringHill Suites Tuckahoe Westchester County offers guests convenient access to the Ridge Hill Mall, the Bronx River Walkway, Winged Foot Golf Club – home of the 2020 U.S. Open – and numerous shopping, dining and entertainment options.

TUCKAHOE, NY – The SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Tuckahoe, New York has recently opened. The 153-suite hotel, located at 109 Marbledale Road, will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Bilwin Development Affiliates of Westchester, New York and managed by Concord Hospitality Enterprises, an award-winning hotel development and management company, based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Located in the idyllic Village of Tuckahoe at the halfway point between New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley, the SpringHill Suites Tuckahoe Westchester County offers guests convenient access to the Ridge Hill Mall, the Bronx River Walkway, Winged Foot Golf Club – home of the 2020 U.S. Open – and numerous shopping, dining and entertainment options.

“As a brand opening a new hotel every 10 days on average, we are delighted that the SpringHill Suites Tuckahoe Westchester County is the latest addition to our growing number of properties across the United States and Canada,” said Janis Milham, Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader, Classic Select Brands at Marriott International. “Our all-suite offering and convenient amenities offer guests a little extra to help them enjoy their stay.”

Ideal for business and leisure travelers alike, the new hotel offers a little extra space with suites larger than a typical hotel room. Separate living, working and sleeping spaces provide guests with flexibility and functionality. The hotel offers comfortable beds, soft linens and plush pillows to allow for an optimum night’s sleep. Each suite also features the SpringHill Suites’ custom, three-in-one West Elm sofa which converts from a sofa to a daybed to a trundle bed – without sacrificing its stylish good looks, along with a stylish West Elm Swivel Chair offering additional space for relaxation. The designated workspace offers a well-lit desk space to ensure maximum productivity for those who need to focus. Each suite also provides a 55-inch HDTV with an interactive guide and streaming capabilities for Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Pandora and Crackle.

“As our first property in Westchester County and fifth in the state of New York, Concord Hospitality is eager to welcome guests and visitors to the new SpringHill Suites Tuckahoe Westchester County and provide them with an opportunity to experience and explore all that the area has to offer,” said Mark Laport, President and CEO of Concord Hospitality.

From the guest rooms to the lobby, every aspect of design, from furniture and lighting to colors and fabrics, has been carefully selected to offer calm and refreshing spaces to allow guests to relax and recharge. The lobby features a brand-new design that adds depth and sophistication to the decor and is a great venue for conducting casual meetings or to relax.

The daily complimentary breakfast is filled with hot, healthy and indulgent choices including fresh strawberries, steel cut oatmeal, cold cuts, cheeses and much more. This is SpringHill Suites’ way of making sure guests have a good start to their day. The hotel also provides business services, complimentary fiber-based Wi-Fi, same-day dry cleaning, a meeting room, guest laundry facilities, a 24/7 Market, an outdoor fire pit, an indoor swimming pool and a well-equipped fitness center.
