The Hotel Concord now open to guests

New lifestyle hotel brings world-class accommodations and service to visitors of the Granite State’s capital.

CONCORD, N.H. – The Hotel Concord, a 38-room lifestyle hotel has opened its lobby, dining spaces and 21 rooms to guests, bringing world-class accommodations and service to visitors of the Granite State's capital. Located within Capital Commons, a signature six-story Class A mixed use building overlooking the Merrimack River and the New Hampshire State House, the hotel will open 17 additional rooms in January 2019. When complete, The Hotel Concord guestrooms will occupy the fourth and sixth floors of Capital Commons as well as a portion of lower floors for the Hotel's lobby and fitness facility.

"We're pleased to bring an entirely new concept to Concord, NH-the integration of an upscale boutique hotel into the premier office building in town–not only a concept that's new to Concord, but relatively unheard of in the world of property development," said Michael Simchik, Managing Partner of New Hampshire-based 100 Market Group, the building's owner and developer.

The Hotel Concord's interiors feature locally-sourced materials whenever possible and are beautifully appointed with handsome custom paneling, light wood floors, granite window sills, and stylish furnishings and fixtures. Artwork, including original contemporary pieces and a collection of conversation-provoking historic photographs referencing the state's pivotal role in the nation's political process, adorns the walls in the public spaces and guest rooms.

The Hotel Concord adds a lively presence to the downtown area with its street level lobby bar, The Lobbyist, where guests and residents alike will soon be able to enjoy a new food and beverage option on Main Street. Conveniently accessible via the hotel lobby, O Steaks & Seafood, one of Concord's most popular dining establishments, oversees food and beverage operations at the hotel. Also, guests may enjoy the restaurant's contemporary American cuisine for lunch and dinner and charge the bill to their room.

The Hotel's guest rooms are all different sizes and shapes – a purposeful departure from the standard "cookie cutter" hotel room – and offer high ceilings, soundless climate control systems, and large windows that invite light and offer city views. Many on the sixth floor will have balconies. Amenities include wall-mounted 55"-65" flat-screen HD televisions, Alexa-enabled devices, complimentary high-speed Internet, mini refrigerators, and oversized bathrooms.

Both floors boast an Executive Lounge offering guests a place to relax, read, work, or engage. Comfortable seating around a fireplace, well-lit work areas, and a book library beckon guests from their rooms.

Private function rooms may be reserved for meetings or private events and offer plentiful natural light, city views, high-speed Internet, and audio/visual equipment. A variety of food and beverage options are available.

Bravo Zulu Hospitality Group will operate the hotel headed by David V. Shamoian. He will be lending his 40 years of expertise in the industry to establish The Hotel Concord as one of the premier lodging establishments in New England. New Hampshire native, Concord resident, and experienced hotel executive Susan O'Donnell is General Manager.
