With experience spanning over 25 years, Jane Davis comes to The National with broad sales, management, meeting planning and revenue skills from within the hotel and meeting industries
Leesburg, Virginia – The National Conference Center, a leader in training and conferences for more than 40 years and now operated by LaKota Hotels & Resorts, bringing new focus and expertise to the property’s growing sales team, announces the appointment of Jane Davis, CMP, as Executive Director of Sales Administration. Ms. Davis will be responsible for a 16-person sales team. Chuck Ocheltree, Chief Marketing Officer, made the announcement.
“We are delighted to add Jane to our highly regarded sales team,” said Mr. Ocheltree. “Jane’s sales and marketing talents and vast industry experience are exceptional and will be a huge asset to our extensive sales program at The National.”
With experience spanning over 25 years, Jane comes to The National with broad sales, management, meeting planning and revenue skills from within the hotel and meeting industries. Her previous positions include working with small independent hotels as well as investing over 20 years in sales at the Willard InterContinental and as National Account Director for Salamander Hotels & Resorts. Ms. Davis has also run her own consulting company.
Jane Davis actively participates with ASAE, AMPS, Reston Herndon Meeting Planners, and other regional and area Chambers. She is an active member of PMPI and has her CMP certification. Her ‘large picture’ sales experience in the meetings business is a perfect match for The National Conference Center. She will be responsible for leading and mentoring the sales team as it successfully develops and grows its business.
