Italian Exhibition Group’s Conference Centre comes first in the Best Location Awards Festival at the Live Communication Week in Milan.
RIMINI – The members of the jury who assigned the illustrious award to the Palacongressi di Rimini were won over not only by its beauty, contemporary features, functionality and highly professional team, but also by the impressive calendar of international events already lined up for 2020, the venue's commitment to sustainability (from its eco-friendly architecture to good practices in its management) and for the solidarity shown (the Food4good scheme).
The Palacongressi di Rimini came out on top in the Conference & Convention Location category, on a shortlist of 5 of the best conference and convention centres in Europe – in Lisbon, Amsterdam, Prague and Zagabria.
The juries were made up of renowned experts from the sector: marketing managers, creative directors of major brands investing in events and representatives of the main trade associations in the world, such as MPI and PCMA.
The ad campaign claim of the Palacongressi "The place to OOOH!, designed to welcome you, created to amaze you" was confirmed with the conferral of this important international award.
The Palacongressi di Rimini managed by Italian Exhibition Group on the podium of the Live Communication Week organized by Adc Group. The event, which for the first time brought together in the same location both the BEA Best Event Award and BEA World, attracted to Milan last week over 2,000 professionals in the events and marketing industry – including agencies and major brands from all over the world – culminating in the awards ceremony that the 2 separate events dedicate to the industry every year, both on a national and international level. In Italy alone, the industry is attracts approximately €884 billion in investments, according to research carried out by AstraRicerche for ADC Group.
Palacongressi di Rimini had already won the prize for Best National Location in 2016 and in 2017. In addition to the award for best locations and destinations, numerous other prizes were presented to leading communication agencies in the world for various event categories including: cultural events, trade shows, B2B events, conferences and congresses, public events, low budget events, etc. An indirect award also came our way in the national awards assigned at the BEA Festival, where the Palacongressi di Rimini supported the nomination of the agency, Search On, with its WMF Web Marketing Festival – We Make Future, which came third in the Proprietary Format Event.
