Tyler Mugford brings a wealth of experience to the role.
PARK CITY, UTAH – The St. Regis Deer Valley, one of the world's most luxurious mountain resorts, announced the appointment of Tyler Mugford as General Manager, effective immediately. Mugford brings more than a dozen years of luxury hospitality experience to his new role overseeing all hotel operations for The St. Regis Deer Valley, located on the slopes of the Wasatch Range in Utah's Deer Valley.
Mugford’s industry career, which spans across properties in the western U.S. and with multiple hotel companies, makes him uniquely qualified for General Manager of The St. Regis Deer Valley. Mugford comes to The St. Regis Deer Valley from Goldener Hirsch, a luxury boutique hotel and residential project in Deer Valley. During his tenure as General Manager at Goldener Hirsch, Mugford successfully completed the residential expansion of new luxury residences in the prestigious Silver Lake Village.
Prior to Goldener Hirsch, Mugford served as Resort Manager and Assistant Director of Operations at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa. Mugford also opened the Pendry San Diego with Montage Hotels and held leadership positions at The Phoenician, A Luxury Collection Resort, Scottsdale and The St. Regis Aspen Resort.

A graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, Mugford played on Cornell's National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Big Red ice hockey team for four years. An avid skier, cyclist and hiker, Tyler Mugford enjoys the Utah outdoors with his wife and four children.
