The Stateview Hotel opens on The Campus of North Carolina State University

Upscale hotel is a part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.

RALEIGH, N.C. – Noble Investment Group has opened the StateView Hotel in the heart of North Carolina State University's Centennial Campus. The hotel provides an innovative, vibrant guest experience driven by state-of-the-art technology, interactive spaces and the spirit of the N.C. State Wolfpack. The hotel's university roots evoke both a sense of honoring the past and a collaborative, advanced look toward the future. Located on the serene setting of the shores of Lake Raleigh, the StateView provides an unmatched outdoor experience surrounded by a protected forest and walking trails, combining to create a guest experience unlike anything else in Raleigh.

"We've always had a vision. This hotel project has been part of that vision since the beginning," said NC State Chancellor Randy Woodson. "It's a critical piece for creating a campus that really embodies creating a place where people live, work and play, where they do research and where they collaborate."

The ground-breaking hotel features 164 guestrooms and suites, a fully equipped business center, upscale health and fitness and more than 10,000 square feet of high-tech meeting and function space. The hotel showcases an inventive chef-driven bar and dining experience, Flask & Beaker, which highlights modern American gastro pub dishes using locally-grown ingredients and regional recipes.

"The StateView is a vital component in the rapidly expanding Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University.  At completion, the campus will house 9 million square feet of world-class commercial, residential, laboratory and research facilities. Conceived in tandem with the senior leadership at North Carolina State University, the StateView was intentionally designed to service the needs of major companies, research entities, students and faculty that call the Centennial Campus and its surrounding communities home," said Noble chief executive officer, Mit Shah.

The StateView opens its doors as part of the Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International's distinctive collection of passionately independent hotels. Located in some of the most remarkable destinations around the world, Autograph Collection Hotels takes the guesswork out of finding exceptional non-chain hotels that are as original as its guests, all while providing the rewards and benefits of Marriott's world-class loyalty program.

"The StateView will provide guests with one-of-a-kind experiences inspired by the spirit of the N.C. State Wolfpack," said Dale Bullock, general manager of the StateView Hotel. "The hotel features superior design, intimate guest rooms and collaborative meeting spaces intentionally planned for the modern traveler and our local community. We are excited to share all we have to offer – one thing is for sure, it's exactly like nothing else!"

The StateView has achieved LEED Silver certification and is committed to energy conservation, sustainability and bio-technological advances. The hotel is located at 2540 Alumni Drive on N.C. State University's Centennial Campus immediately adjacent to the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center, across from the Arnold Palmer-designed Lonnie Pool Golf Course and minutes from the heart of Downtown Raleigh.
